Metalworx is ISO 9001:2008/AS9100C certified and makes use of the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) PPAP/APQP and the Aerospace AS9102 First Article Inspection processes for new product introduction. These processes ensure all customer engineering design record and specification requirements are properly understood and that the manufacturing process developed has the potential to produce the product consistently meeting those requirements.


Metalworx believes in long term relationships with our customers and employees. We employ Lean Manufacturing practices in our plant including 5S, Visual Factory, Cellular Manufacturing, Quick Changeover, Standard Work, and Value Streams. Waste elimination is our focus. Waste reduction improves quality and decreases cost that can benefit both the customer and the employee. For example, our employees change from one part to the next without using bolt-down fixtures and indicators to “set-up” the part each time. We respect the employee too much to waste their time in repeated “set-ups” and we value our customer too much to charge them each time for something that only needs to ever happen once. Excess inventory is one of the largest wastes in American business today. Metalworx, operating as a Lean manufacturing company, strives to keep raw materials, WIP and finished goods to a minimum. In doing so, Metalworx can pass value not cost to our customers with quick delivery of quality parts and assemblies.


Our employees are the Quality Control at Metalworx. Quality is something that can only be affected by the employees who are operating the machine to produce the needed parts. For the manufacture of every part, our employees are provided process routings, work instructions, manufacturing part prints, detailed operator inspection reports and control plans which enable them to control product quality at the source of manufacture.

The welding department is certified to American Welding Society (AWS) standards D1.1, D1.2, D1.6 and D17.1. Our welders are qualified in Stick Welding (SMAW), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) Process.
